Why hello there everyone! It’s Day Two of 2016 and I already have a discussion-y type post for you. WOOT WOOT! I love discussion posts- they’re awesome because they get everyone involved. (Everyone meaning the blogger, the reader, etc…)
Anyways, I’m often asked…”How do I make my blog more friendly/get more views?”
Well, there’s no true answer to that question, because it depends on a LOT of variables. But, a general good rule of thumb is to make sure that your blog is interactive.
Now, what are interactive posts? Well, they truly can be anything, so long as they spark a conversation. Discussion posts are a great example of this, but I have a couple of other examples for you also!

365 Commenting Challenge
This is a challenge that I’m hosting where I challenge all of YOU to comment on 365 blogs throughout the whole year! It might sound like a huge number, but hey, it’s one comment a day (minus leap day- you get a break then ;) ). This feature is definitely interactive, because lots of bloggers practice something known as “commenting back.” It’s exactly what it sounds like! When someone comments on their blog, they will visit the commenter’s blog and leave them a comment! It’s a great way to get to know new blogs (and bloggers) and I’m super excited for it.

Novel Newcomers
This is a brand new feature hosted by Sophi and me, where we will be featuring newbie bloggers (aka bloggers who started in 2015)! This feature is interactive because it incorporates the thoughts of multiple bloggers in each post! Whenever visiting other blogs, I always tend to gravitate towards posts where multiple bloggers are featured.
Sweet and Sassy Sixteeners
Yes, SSS is coming back! I did Part One in November, and I can’t wait to be highlighting more 2016 authors in a couple of months! More details to come later for that one. ;) This feature is interactive because there’s a grand prize giveaway where each day’s post has a secret word hidden- therefore you want to make sure you visit daily!
Sunday Street Team
This is a feature that I started back in 2015 where I pick 1-4 authors to feature each month, and pick a street team to help me promote the books! The goal is for bloggers and authors to interact and meet each other through this street team! To join the SST, click HERE!
